VERSA-PODS

Select Increments® Versa-Pods are constructed of thick, textured plastic for durability.  Versa-Pods accept 4” speakers*, or you can purchase them loaded with Kicker® 4” 2-way speakers rated at 25 watts RMS.   Every pair of Versa-Pods includes self-tapping screws, wire-lead grommets, poly-fill, and installation instructions.  Versa-Pods offer a unique shape and can fit in various nooks in cars, trucks, SUV’s, motorcycles, boats and UTV’s.  A pair of Versa-Pods are mirror images of each other, one ‘left’ and one ‘right’.  So, if you can’t get one of the pods to fit where you want, try the other pod in the same spot and it just may work! 

Nice sturdy little pod.  These did the job perfectly. They fit in a really tight spot and were very easy to customize.

Jeep CJ and Jeep YJ, TJ, JK, JL Wranglers and JT Gladiators are all great candidates for incorporating a pair of Versa-Pods.  Take a look at the pictures for some ideas on where these pods will work in your particular Jeep, or whatever you’re driving.

You may find that you don’t need to use the self-tapping screws that are included…you may wish to use other mediums to attach the pods, such as different screws, or perhaps Velcro®, double-sided tape, maybe Loc-Tite® adhesive caulk.  All of these can also work, depending on your specific needs.  Just clean the necessary sides of the Versa-Pods first to ensure the best bond to the plastic!

I have 2 sets, one set on my desk and one set on the dash of my car. These enclosures contribute to the best sounding and best imaging system I have ever heard in a car (and I have worked on some high end competition systems).

*Some 4” speakers with very large magnets (almost the same size as the speaker cones themselves) may not fit in Versa-Pods because they may hit the interior flat-bottom. While a rarity, it can happen.  If you have concerns about this, call us with the specifics on your speakers and we’ll help determine if it’s an issue.
